Chili is everything I'd hoped for and more from Kya's first litter!
She become a pretty solid ranch dog, and has been out in the pasture checking cows with her mother and me on horseback.
Chili's trial debut was at the ASF of Alberta trial in early June, 2009 where she was Most Promising Started Aussie with very respectable scores in the mid 80's. In July, 2009 we traveled to Montana for the Cow Country Classic, where Chili again was Most Promising Started Aussie, earning excellent scores and winning me the silver belt buckle!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to compete in any ASCA trials in 2010 but we did make our trip to Saskatchewan for the Canadian National Australian Shepherd Specialty, worthwhile...Chili earned the Top Intermediate Herding Title, on a very large course. It was the first time we have competed in any CKC herding trials and we enjoyed it very much!
